Google to Start Charging For Organic Placements

Owning the first page of Google is now going to get a lot easier. Just like AdWords, Google AdOrganic allows you to simply pay to rank where you want, for the keywords you want to show up for. Want to take that top organic spot from your competitor? Outbid them and it is yours instantly. No more writing content, getting inbound links and investing money in search engine optimization. All you have to do is break out your credit card and BAM, you rank #1 on Google.

Said Google founder Larry Page, “We’ve been spending millions of dollars a year tweaking our algorithm because of the spammy tactics black hat SEO firms were using and just decided to auction off the spots to the highest bidder to put the search engine optimization companies out of business. Do you know what it is like to be around programmers all day long talking about content, relevance and authority? Plus they drink RedBull like crazy. Enough! Now when you hear the saying, I will guarantee 1 st page Google you can take it to the bank that it will happen.”

After Google’s record revenues last year, and the new Google AdOrganic, I am pretty sure they will go down in history as the most profitable company ever.

Obviously this blog is my attempt at an internet marketing April Fool’s joke but it makes you think as to how important ranking on the 1 st page of Google, Yahoo and Bing really is for businesses.

What is the favorite April Fool’s Day prank you played on a friend, coworker or family member? What was the best played on you?
